titleOfInvention DIVIDED AVIDIN EFFECTIVE ON RISE OF BIOTINE CONCENTRATION IN PRE-TARGETED RADIOANOSHOPATHY
abstract Described are avidin and streptavidin dimers (diavidins) wherein the ligand is a subvert, which in turn binds to various (-NH2 o-COOH) avidin functional groups. Compared to avidin, diabidins showed the ability to increase the amount of biotin-labeled target when used in an in vitro targeting assay using supported human tenascin, biotinylated anti-tenascin antibody (Mab-B), avidin, and biotin-3H. The use of such diabidins is also described in the diagnosis of cancer and in the anti-cancer treatment based on the three-step procedure of targeted radiotherapy.
