titleOfInvention Gene coding for Heliomycin and its use
abstract The present invention is directed to heliomycin, a DNA sequence encoding heliomycin, a vector containing it for the transformation of a host organism and the transformation process. The invention relates to the use of heliomycin as a medicament, in particular for the treatment of fungal infections. The invention relates, more specifically, to the transformation of plant cells and plants, the heliummycin produced by the transformed plants, conferring upon them a resistance to diseases, in particular of fungal origin.
