abstract | Procedure for stereospecific resolution of the esters of the racemic mixture of Propanolol [1-isopropylamino-3- (1-naphthoxy) -2-propanol], using commercial enzymes in a new biphasic reaction medium composed of tetrahydrofuran as organic solvent in proportions ranging from 25% to 50%, phosphate buffer as an aqueous phase at concentrations between 10-20mmol / L in a range ranging from 50% to 75%, the reaction temperature was maintained between 25 and 40sC and the pH value was adjusted between 6 and 7.5, under these conditions S (-) Propanolol with an enantiomeric purity of 97.5% was obtained. |
