titleOfInvention | Stabilized means for farming animals' growth stimulation |
abstract | Stabilised growth promoting formulation comprises a growth promoting hormone (I) and a stabiliser which decreases the formation of insoluble and improves preservation of soluble bioactivity of (I) in aq. media. - The stabiliser comprises 1 or more of (a) a polyol from non-reducing sugars, sugar alcohols, sugar acids, lactose, pentaerythritol, water-soluble dextrans and Ficoll; (b) an amino acid from glycine, sarcosine, lysine, serine, arginine, betaine, N,N-dimethylglycin, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and their salts; (c) a polymer of an amino acid having a charged side gp. at physiological pH; and (d) a choline deriv. from choline chloride, -dihydrogen citrate, -bitartrate, -bicarbonate, -ascorbate, -borate, -gluconate or -phosphate and dicholine sulphate, dicholine mucate and tridoline citrate. - (I) may be an ovine, porcine, equine, avian, bovine or human growth promoting hormone. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for promoting animal growth pref. in pigs and cows. - The compsn. may be admin. by injection as an aq. soln. or as an implant in liq. or dry state, and is easily prepd. by simple mechanical mixing.
