titleOfInvention A method of removing arsenic from sulphide-alkaline solutions
abstract The sulphide-alkaline solution is oxidizednparoxide. while oxidizing the trivalentnarsenic pentavalent and sulfur to sodium sulphate.nAfter acidifying the solution with dilute acidnsulfuric, calcium oxide is added to the solution, nthereby removing the arsenic in the moldninsoluble deposition of arsenicncalcium. Reading solution from arsenicnand makes the addition of ferrous sulfate tonferrous arsenate depositable.nThe final sodium sulphate solution is evaporated, ndrying and obtaining a commercial crystalline yieldnsodium sulfate. This can be reduced tonsodium sulphide, which can be used abbotnfor leaching waste and containing arsenic.
