Method of enzyme production and equipment for realization of this method |
abstract |
The invention concerns a method and equipment for enzyme production by means of granular filterable biocatalysts and its use batchwise or continually. The advantage of the method and equipment is the pneumatic method of mixing the reaction suspension with a small shear effort of the gel-like grains of the biocatalyst, with long service life of the biocatalyst. A bidirectional working filtration element at the reactor floor serves for dissipation of gas bubbles in the liquid during pneumatic mixing and for filtration of the reaction mixture from particles of the granular biocatalyst. The reactor works either batchwise or continually, multiply repeated during the retention time of the granular biocatalyst in the reactor, or continually when connecting at least two reactors in series. The equipment is especially suitable for production of 6-aminopenicillin and 7-aminodeacetoxy cephalosporin acid immobilised by cells or enzymes.<IMAGE> |
