abstract Brightener is composed of alkanesulfonates of alkaline metals, salts of aromatic sulphonic acids with alkaline metals or their derivates, alkinpolyols and alkine polyols ethoxylated into one or more degrees, additive products of substituted aminoacetylenes with mineral acids, alkanesulfonates of alkaline metals, water and compounds of a general formula 1, where R1 is an aliphatic alkyl with the number of carbons of 1 to 18, R2 is -H, -COOH, formula 2, where m is 1 to 5, R3 is -H, -COOH, formula 3, formula 4, formula 5, where n is 1 to 5, A<-> - OH<->, Cl<->, HSO4<->, SO4<2->. It always contains at least one substance of the above-mentioned groups of compounds and water. With regard to the contents of imidazole derivates it has a capacity to suppress the inbuilding of degradation products of organic compounds containing a bound sulphur and makes it possible to liberate white nickel coatings containing less then 0.07% weight of the sulphur.<IMAGE>
