titleOfInvention Method of controlling and terminating azocopulation reactions
abstract A method of controlling and terminating azocopulatory reactions by dispensing a diazonium salt solution to the present passive component solution using the redox potential of the reaction mixture, wherein the diazonium salt is added to the passive component in the first phase until the unreacted salt concentration reaches 1.10-. ® ton1.10-4 moles per liter when the redox potential is increased to a corresponding value, whereupon dosing is performed intermittently, preferably at a constant size, with a pause between doses of 3 to 60, and admitting an additional dose when the redox potential falls below a selected value which it is 50 to 150 mV higher than the value conducive to transition to pulse dosing and dosing is discontinued.
