The process for the continuous production of N-cesalkyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamines by reductive alkylation of 4-aminodiphenylamine with ketones in the presence of copper catalysts consists in a mixture of technical 4-aminodiphenylamine with a ketone in a molar ratio of 1: 2 to 1: 5 in the presence of 0.1 to 1 wt. the catalyst calculated on the amine is injected into a series of connected three circulating hydrogen tower reactors, at a rate of 0.02 to 0.06 ms -1 at 120 to 180 ° C and a pressure of 2 to 10 MPa, with a mean residence time of 4 to 10 hours . N-sec-alkyl-Ν'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamines are aphthiosonants for mechanically stressed rubber. |
