On a transparent foil backing,npreferably polyethylene terephthalate biaxiallynoriented film, is light-sensitivennegatively working layer suitable fornmaking images by photomechanical copyingnand then engraving, which is composednaromatic azides in conjunction with naturalnor artificial rubbers and which is colorednto the desired optical densitynand color shade by finely dispersed pigments.nThe film is copied using UV light andninduced by a developer composed of aliphatic,naromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons.nThe use of film is in printing, cartography,nelectrical engineering, textile industry, etc.
