2,6-Dihydroxymethylpyridine-bis-(N-methylcarbamate) in the gamma 2 modification is obtained from 2,6-dihydroxymethylpyridine hydrochloride using methyl isocyanate, the purification being effected by recrystallisation from an alcohol-water mixture and the drying being carried out at 50-100 DEG C. The product thus obtained, which is employed in the therapy of vascular diseases, can easily be made into tablets. |
