The adiabatic reactor is connectednfor a tubular reactor, a jackpot catalystnan aluminum-nickel alloy is usednactivated granules. To the reactornn-butyraldehyde and isobutyraldehyde are metered innor a mixture of these raw materials with hydrogenate.nSimilarly, the reactor is metered inn2-ethylhexenal or a mixture thereof with a hydrogenate.nThe products are butanol, isobutanolnff 2-ethylhexanol of high purity.
