abstract 1512328 Determination creatinekinase-MB MERCK PATENT GmbH 3 Nov 1976 [3 Nov 1975] 45805/76 Heading G1B Activity of creatinekinase-MB (CK-MB) present in a body fluid is determined by incubation of a sample with creatinekinase isoenzyme MM (CKMM) antibodies which inhibit the enzymatic activity of the sub unit M present in the CK-MB without inactivating the enzymatic activity of the subunit B in any CK-MB which may be present, and thereafter determining the activity of the sub-unit B e.g. by measurement of the residual activity photometrically. A test kit for determining CKMB comprises, (a) CK-MM antibodies, (b) a coenzyme-enzyme-substrate mixture e.g. disodium creatine phosphate hexahydrate, reduced glutathione, disodium adenosine diphosphate hexahydrate, disodium nicotinamide-adenine dinuclestide phosphate disodium adenosine monophosphate, hexokinase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, glucose, magnesium acetate and (c) a buffer solution.
