1376338 Absorbing gases SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 30 Nov 1971 [2 Dec 1970] 55529/71 Heading B1L Sulphur oxides are removed from air by absorption under oxidative condition on an acceptor comprising copper and aluminium deposited on alumina which has been calcined above 780‹C. The acceptor is regenerated by reduction. The aluminium salt is deposited upon the carrier prior to or simultaneously with the impregnation with the copper salt. |
