abstract It refers to microemulsion cleaner compositions comprising: (a) 0.1% to 8% of an anionic sulfate or sulphonate surfactant, (b) 0.5 to 6 & of at least one non-ionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of a mixture of ethoxylated polyhydric alcohol type compounds, an ethoxylated / propoxylated non-ionic surfactant and an ethoxylated non-ionic surfactant c) 0.5 to 8% of a short chain amphiphile d) 0.05 to 2% of a fatty acid e) 0.25% to 6% magnesium sulfate, f) 0% to 5% of a perfume, essential oil or water soluble hydrocarbon, g) 0.001% to 1% of at least one preservative selected from the group consisting of 5-bromo-5- nitro -dioxan-1,3-mixtures mixtures of isothiazolinola and 1.3 deimetinol dimethyl hydantoin and mixtures thereof h) 0.25% to 1.5% of a preservative enhancer which is a salt of imino sodium disuccinate and i) the rest being water .
