abstract <p> In alternative embodiments, processes are provided that comprise continuous isolation and purification of cannabinoids and further isomerization of purified cannabidiol to Δ <sup> 8 </sup> tetrahydro cannabinol (Δ <sup> 8 </sup> THC) and Δ <sup> 9 </sup> tetrahydro cannabinol (Δ <sup> 9 </sup> THC). In tentative embodiments, processes are provided for converting Δ <sup> 8 </sup> -THC to Δ <sup> 9 </sup> -THC. In alternate embodiments, processes are provided for the industrial scale of continuous isolation and purification of cannabinoids and further isomerization of purified cannabidiol to delta Δ <sup> 9 </sup> -THC. </p>
