abstract A pesticidal composition is provided that has a broad pesticide spectrum, is very active and capable of reducing the amount of active ingredient to be applied and has a long lasting effect. A method for controlling pests is also provided. The pesticidal composition comprises, as active ingredients, (A) at least one organic phosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of fostiazate, imiciafos and cadusafos and (B) fluensulfone. The method for controlling pests includes the application of respective effective amounts of (A) and (B) above.
