Vehicles are provided for the transmission and release of pesticidal compositions. In one of the approaches, the release vehicle is a capsule configured to resist the release of the pesticidal composition before said capsule is applied at the location where the pest control is desired. The capsule is also configured to degrade after being applied at the location where it is desired to control the plague to thereby facilitate the release of the pesticidal composition. In one of the determined but non-limiting cases, the capsule includes a protective wall containing a high flowering strength gelatinous material and a plasticizer material and the pesticidal composition includes a fumigant such as 1.3-dichloropropane. Other embodiments, forms, objectives, characteristics, advantages and benefits will be apparent from the descriptions and drawings. |
