titleOfInvention A COMPOSITION OF BOTANICAL REPELLENT BASED ON ALLIUM SATIVUM AND HUMIC ACIDS TO COMBAT PEST INSECTS AND PROCEDURE OF OBTAINING AND USES
abstract The present invention relates to a botanical repellent composition for fighting pest insects comprising garlic extract (allium sativum) from 75% to 92%, humic acids and diluents from 25% to 8%. Preferably the composition comprises 87% aqueous garlic extract, humic acids and 13% water. These percentages are those that guarantee a control of more than 70% for adults, above 60% on nymphs and greater than 60% on whitefly eggs (Bemicia tabaci) in pumpkin (Cucúrbita pepo). The aqueous garlic extract is obtained by the maceration method to obtain a concentration level of 87% that allows an adequate percentage of pest insects to affect the crops.
