titleOfInvention UNYECTABLE FILLING OF EMPTY SPACES TO INCREASE WHITE FABRICS
abstract The present invention teaches an injectable fibrin-based composition, fully resorbable, soft, elastic and micro-porous, for use as a filling of empty spaces and soft tissue lumens. The composition of the present invention exhibits physical characteristics, such as mechanical properties, typically observed in elastomers and mechanical stability, which are superior to those of fibrin alone. It is possible to adapt and alter effectively different properties of the composition of the present invention by adjusting the type and content of the particles as well as the plasticizer containing the empty space filling composition. 1.- A composition for use as a filling of empty spaces or soft tissue lumens, said composition comprises fibrinogen, thrombin, at least one plasticizer and microparticles having an average diameter between 0.01-200 µm or less. 2. The composition of claim 1 wherein the microparticles are calcium-containing microparticles. 3. The composition of claim 1 or 2 further comprising an X-ray contrast agent. 4. The composition of claim 1 or 2 further comprising a contrast agent selected from the group consisting of contrast agents a X-rays, contrast agents for computed tomography (CT) and contrast agents for nuclear magnetic resonance tomography (MRI).
