titleOfInvention DEGRADING BACTERIA OF HERBICIDES OF THE TYPE S- TRIAZINES A BIORREMEDIATION PRODUCT AND AN APPLICATION METHOD
abstract A bacterial strain capable of degrading or mineralizing s-triazines, CHARACTERIZED because it corresponds to the strain of Pseudomonas sp. MHP41, deposited under accession number NRRL B-30908 dated March 17, 2006. A product for the bioremediation of environments contaminated with s-triazine compounds, CHARACTERIZED because it comprises a bacterial inoculum of the strain Pseudomonas sp. MHP41 NRRL B-30908, defined in claim 1 and a culture medium, a buffer solution or sodium alginate. The product for bioremediation according to claim 2, CHARACTERIZED in that said inoculum contains a known concentration of the strain Pseudomonas sp. MHP41 NRRL B-30908 from 1 x 103 CFU / ml to 1 x 1015 CFU / ml of culture medium or buffer solution or from 1 x 105 CFU / g to 1 x 1012 CFU / g sodium alginate. The product for bioremediation according to claim 2, CHARACTERIZED in that said inoculum contains lyophilized cells of the strain Pseudomonas sp. MHP41 NRRL B-309O8 in a sterile complex protective medium. The product for bioremediation according to claim 2, CHARACTERIZED in that said inoculum contains cells encapsulated in sodium alginate of the strain Pseudomonas sp. MHP41 NRRL B-30908. A method for bioremediation of an environment contaminated with s-triazines, CHARACTERIZED because said method comprises: a) adding a product according to any of claims 2 to 5 to said environment contaminated with s-triazines, and b) incubating said product that contains the inoculum of the strain Pseudomonas sp. MHP41 NRRL B-30908 in this contaminated environment, and allow it to act for a sufficient period of time, from at least 1 week to about 12 months, to allow degradation of said s-triazine compound contained in said environment. A method for bioremediation of an environment contaminated with s-triazines according to claim 6, CHARACTERIZED because said period of time comprises a period from 1 week to 4 weeks.
