titleOfInvention TETRAHYDRO AROMATIC PROSTAGLANDINS C16-C20 SUBSTITUTED USEFUL AS FP AGONISTS
abstract The present invention relates to a compound that has the structure: where a) R1 is CO2 H, C (O) NHOH, CO2 R5, CH2 OH, S (O) 2 R5, C (O) NHR5, C (O) NHS (O) 2 R5 or tetrazole; where R5 is alkyl, heteroalkyl, carbocyclic aliphatic ring, heterocyclic aliphatic ring, aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring; b) R2 is H or lower alkyl; c) X is NR6 R7, OR8, SR9, S (O) R9, or S (O) 2 R9; where R6, R7 and R8 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, acyl, alkyl, heteroalkyl, carbocyclic aliphatic ring, heterocyclic aliphatic ring, aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring; and where R9 is alkyl, heteroalkyl, carbocyclic aliphatic ring, heterocyclic aliphatic ring, aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring; d) R3 and R4 are independently H, hydroxyalkyl alkyl ...; except that R3 and R4 cannot simultaneously be hydrogen; e) Z is carbocyclic aliphatic ring, heterocyclic aliphatic ring, aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring; and any optical isomers, diestereomers, enantiomers of the above framework, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or biohydrolyzable amide, ester or imide thereof.
