abstract | SUMMARY The invention relates to a water soluble polymer, for improved hydrocarbon recovery, of the formula (I) (I) wherein R is a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal element R 'is a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical the coefficients a, b and c are defined as follows: a / (a + b + c) is greater than or equal to 0.50, b / (a + b + c) is between 0 and 0.50, limits included, c / (a + b + c) is between 0.001 and 0.20, limits included, all relations a / (a + b + c), b / (a + b + c) and c / (a + b + c) have a sum equal to 1. The invention also relates to the process for preparing said polymer and its use for improved hydrocarbon recovery. |
