titleOfInvention Equipment for the production and separation of hydrogen from waste using fermentative bacteria
abstract The present invention corresponds to an apparatus and a process for the production and separation of gases from agro-industrial waste. The apparatus is a reactor with a vessel containing a mixture of a culture medium and agro-industrial waste. In addition, the reactor has a heating device located inside the container and a heat exchange device configured to maintain a temperature of the mixture, where the heating device and the heat exchange device are configured together to provide sterilization " in situ ”of the mixture. Additionally, the reactor includes a gas outlet connected to the vessel. Preferably, the apparatus further comprises a gas separation mechanism configured to separate a gas from a gas mixture coming from the reactor.
