abstract | The utility model relates to a patient interface and a CPAP system including the same. A patient interface for delivering a flow of positive air to improve sleep-disordered breathing includes a seal-forming structure forming at least a portion of a plenum pressurizable to a therapeutic pressure, and a ventilation port and an AAV assembly. The ventilation port and AAV assembly are configured to regulate flow therethrough to provide a ventilation flow path when (1) the pressure in the plenum is above a predetermined magnitude, and (2) when the pressure in the plenum is above a predetermined amount A breathable flow path is provided when the pressure is below the predetermined amount or not delivered. The vent and AAV assembly includes an AAV member including at least one vane portion constructed and arranged to regulate flow through the at least one first opening and the at least one second opening. At least one fin portion includes a plurality of ventilation holes therethrough. |
