abstract | A quartz substrate-based metal super-structure surface double-parameter sensing chip is composed of a quartz substrate and an annular gold array on the quartz substrate, wherein the annular gold is zero-shaped. The transmission spectrum of the sensing chip has two resonance peaks, and the peak frequency shift is caused by the temperature and refractive index changes of the external environment. According to a sensitivity matrix formula, the change quantity of the temperature and the refractive index can be calculated by detecting the offset of the peak frequency, so that the refractive index and the temperature of the object to be detected can be monitored in real time, the refractive index sensitivities of the two peaks are 67.9GHz/RIU and 142.76GHz/RIU respectively, and the temperature sensitivities are 6.35MHz/K and 7.14MHz/K respectively. The sensing chip has the advantages of small volume, high sensitivity, easy manufacture and the like, and has wide application prospect. The terahertz waveband temperature and the refractive index can be measured simultaneously. |
