abstract A vertical curtain type vacuum natural evaporator relates to the technical field of evaporators and comprises a mother liquid tank, a heater, a liquid distribution chamber, a cooling chamber, a liquid receiving chamber, a vacuum pump and a condensate tank; the mother liquid tank is connected with the liquid distribution chamber through a heater; a liquid distributor is arranged in the liquid distribution chamber and provided with at least one slit; the liquid distribution chamber is connected with the cooling chamber, and a plurality of cooling pieces are arranged in the cooling chamber; the cooling chamber is connected with the liquid receiving chamber, a flow divider is arranged in the liquid receiving chamber, and the flow divider comprises a plurality of flow dividing pieces; the liquid receiving chamber is provided with a vacuum port, a condensate port and a concentrated liquid outlet, the vacuum pump is connected with the vacuum port, the condensate tank is connected with the condensate port, and the concentrated liquid outlet is connected with the mother liquid tank. The vacuum pump can form vacuum environment in the cooling chamber and the liquid receiving chamber, so that mother liquor is naturally evaporated in the vacuum environment, the evaporation temperature is far lower than the boiling point under normal pressure, the temperature rise of the heated mother liquor is small, no phase change exists, the thermal decomposition and polymerization of the mother liquor are slight, and the crystallization and scaling phenomena on the inner surface of the heater can be remarkably reduced and avoided.
