abstract The rotary photocatalytic reactor consists of a light emitting device, a reaction tube and a rotating device and is used for researching the photocatalytic degradation of pollutants in a liquid system. When the instrument is operated, the light-emitting device generates light with specific wavelength and irradiates the reaction tube which is positioned on the rotating device and is loaded with the photocatalyst film, the device uniformly receives the light to the solution in the reaction tube because of rotating around the light source at a constant speed, and various information related to the photocatalytic degradation of pollutants can be obtained through analyzing the reaction liquid. The instrument has the advantages of reasonable structure, simple and convenient operation, capability of rapidly completing batch tests under various conditions, reduction of test operation errors and the like.
