abstract An inductor capable of suppressing a reduction in fixing force. The inductor (10) has a magnetic core (20), a pair of terminal electrodes (40), and a cable (50). The magnetic core (20) has a shaft portion (21) and a pair of support portions (22) located at both ends of the shaft portion (21). The shaft portion (21) is formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape. The support portion (22) supports the shaft portion (21) so as to be parallel to the mounting object (circuit board). A pair of support parts (22) are integrally formed with the shaft part (21). The terminal electrode (40) includes an end surface electrode (42) located on the end surface (32) of the support portion (22). The central part (42a) of the end surface electrode (42) in the width direction of the end surface (32) is higher than the end part (42b) in the width direction of the end surface (32).
