| abstract | Provided is an agricultural product carbon footprint inquiry system based on two-dimension code electronic tags. The agricultural product carbon footprint inquiry system comprises a database server, a carbon footprint two-dimension code tag generating device, a carbon footprint two-dimension code tag printing device, and an two-dimension code scanning terminal. Carbon footprint information relative to an agricultural product is saved in the database server. The carbon footprint two-dimension code tag generating device converts the carbon footprint information in the database server into a corresponding carbon footprint two-dimension code tag. The carbon footprint two-dimension code tag printing device prints the carbon footprint two-dimension code tag on the package or the signboard of the corresponding agricultural product in order that the two-dimension code scanning terminal scans the carbon footprint two-dimension code tag on the package or the signboard of the agricultural product and converts and displays the carbon footprint information of the agricultural product. Preferably, the agricultural product is a Chinese wolfberry product. In combination with database and two-dimension code technology, the agricultural product carbon footprint inquiry system achieves low cost, convenience, and reliability, enables ordinary consumers to easily obtain carbon footprint information contained in the carbon footprint two-dimension code tag on the package of the agricultural product, especially the Chinese wolfberry product, and improves enterprise competitiveness while satisfying consumer's right to know. |
