titleOfInvention Ultra-high transmittance subtractive color filter suitable for any light
abstract The utility model discloses an ultra-high transmittance subtractive color filter suitable for any light. Through theoretical simulation and derivation, a circular micro-pore array in an ultra-thin metal film series and of sub-wavelength size is designed; by utilizing a Plasmon effect generated by multiple action between the light and a metal micro-array, when any light irradiated on the micro-structured array, a transmittance minimum value is generated in some waveband in the visible light, and correspondingly a complementary color of the color corresponding to the wavelength of the minimum value presents, and the light having a wavelength except the wavelength of the minimum value has an ultra-high transmittance. According to the filter, magnetron sputtering is used to vapor plate an ultra-thin silver film on a glass substrate, and then electron beam lithography (EBL) technology is utilized to successfully make a filter of the sub-wavelength side and having a circular micro-pore structure array on the Ag film. The filter is not dependent on the polarization characteristic of a light source, has very high transmittance efficiency, is easy to manufacture and do equipment integration, and has relatively high reliability in exposure to high temperature, high humidity and long-term radiation.
