The speed measuring device provided by the utility model controls the brake system of the road roller or the paver through matching between the central processor and the range finder sensor. A small distance between the trolley and the road roller or the paver is always kept for ensuring a fact that the speed measuring instrument accurately measures data of low-speed and uniform-speed motion of construction equipment, thereby managing construction quality.
