titleOfInvention Intercooling step drill
abstract The utility model provides an intercooling step drill which is good in cooling effect. The intercooling step drill comprises a drill shank and a blade portion which is arranged on the end portion of the drill shank, wherein a plurality of sections of drilling blades with the diameters which are gradually increased are sequentially arranged from the end portion of the blade portion to the connecting position of the blade portion and the drill shank; the drill shank is provided with a water inlet channel in a communicated mode; and the end portion of the blade portion is provided with a cooling water outlet which is communicated with the water inlet channel. The intercooling step drill is characterized in that the drill shank is also provided with a chip removal channel in a communicated mode and the connecting position of every two adjacent sections of drilling blades is provided with a chip removal opening which is communicated with the chip removal channel. According to the intercooling step drill, the chip removal openings and the cooling water outlet with reasonable positions are formed to enable chips and cooling water which are produced by drilling to be smoothly discharged out of a chip discharging groove, so that the cooling water can always smoothly flow out of the cooling water outlet, cooling can be continuously performed on a drill bit, the cooling effect is ensured, and the service life of the drill bit is extended.
