The antimicrobial enamel inner container used for the water heater comprises an inner container substrate and an enamel coating arranged on the surface of the inner container substrate, wherein the enamel coating comprises a bottom layer and a surface antimicrobial layer, and fumed silica powder bodies which absorb antimicrobial particles are arranged inside the surface antimicrobial layer. Preferably, the antimicrobial particles are composition of nanometer silver powder, nanometer copper powder, nanometer copper oxide particles and nanometer silver phosphate particles, and the diameter of the antimicrobial particles is nanoscale. According to the antimicrobial enamel inner container used for the water heater, silica powder bodies are mixed into the enamel coating, so that the antimicrobial particles gather on an enamel surface, and a small quantity of silver can achieve a good antimicrobial effect. Meanwhile, due to the fact that the added antimicrobial particles are mainly distributed on the enamel surface, constituents of an enamel substrate are basically unchanged, and mechanical property and corrosion-resisting property of the coating are maintained.
