The invention relates to a process for the preparation of compounds containing at least one CF2O bridge per molecule, which process comprises: a) adding an acid to at least one ketene dithioketal; b) subjecting the resulting bis(alkane reaction of a sulfenyl)carbenium salt with at least one compound containing at least one hydroxyl group, and; c) subsequently, preferably in situ, subjecting the resulting dithioorthoester to an oxidative fluorination-desulfurization reaction with a fluorinating agent and an oxidizing agent , generating bonds with at least one CF 2 O bridge per molecule. |
