abstract | The present disclosure provides a method and system for generating a single sideband signal with a high sideband rejection ratio by a silicon-based modulator. The single sideband signal is transmitted to the optical monitoring module. Monitor the SSB signal suppression ratio based on the optical monitoring module, and determine whether the SSB signal suppression ratio satisfies the preset suppression ratio; if not, send a modulation instruction to the SSB signal based on the optical monitoring module An electrical signal generation module, based on the electrical signal generation module, according to the SSB signal suppression ratio, continues to adjust the first modulation voltage or the second modulation voltage until the SSB signal suppression ratio satisfies the preset suppression ratio. The method and system provided by the present disclosure can effectively improve the quality of the single-sideband signal generated by the silicon-based modulator, and can improve the single-sideband signal rejection ratio without adding additional structures outside the conventional modulator. |
