The application relates to the technical field of benzyl salicylate, and specifically discloses a process for producing benzyl salicylate with a high activation catalyst, which comprises the following operation steps: mixing benzyl alcohol and methyl salicylate in a mass ratio of 1:(1 -1.5) to obtain mixed solution A; add mixed solution A to the highly activated catalyst, first react at 150-170 ° C for 3-5 h, and then react under vacuum conditions for 1-1.5 h, purify, and obtain saliculus acid benzyl ester; the high activation catalyst includes the following raw materials: carrier, tetrabutylammonium chloride, dibutyltin oxide, dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, 4-dimethylaminopyridine. In the process for producing benzyl salicylate using the highly activated catalyst of the present application, the benzyl alcohol conversion rate and purity of benzyl salicylate are respectively 95.0% and 99.0% at the highest, and the benzyl alcohol conversion rate and purity are relatively high. |
