titleOfInvention Application of tae-miR397 in regulating wheat disease resistance
abstract The invention belongs to the field of biotechnology and discloses the application of tae-miR397 in regulating wheat disease resistance. In the present invention, by infecting wheat with powdery mildew and Fusarium graminearum, the expression level of tae-miR397 in wheat plants after the treatment is detected, and it is found that the expression level of tae-miR397 in wheat plants is significantly down-regulated. The present invention further constructs a wheat plant overexpressing tae-miR397, and it is found that the resistance to powdery mildew and scab of the wheat plant overexpressing tae-miR397 is significantly lower than that of the wild-type wheat plant. This indicates that the increased expression of tae-miR397 in wheat plants can reduce the powdery mildew resistance and scab resistance of wheat plants, and tae-miR397 is an important factor involved in the response process of wheat scab resistance. Therefore, the expression of tae-miR397 can be regulated by genetic engineering, and then wheat plants with altered powdery mildew resistance and scab resistance can be cultivated.
