The invention relates to biological detection technology, and discloses a polypeptide-modified gold nano-cluster, a preparation method thereof, and an application in detecting microplastics. The polypeptide-modified gold nanocluster includes gold nanoclusters and a polypeptide LCI modified on the surface of the gold nanocluster, wherein the polypeptide LCI includes a fragment whose amino acid sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The preparation method includes the following steps: providing functionalized gold nanoclusters; contacting the functionalized gold nanoclusters with polypeptide LCI, and connecting the polypeptide LCI to the surface of the gold nanoclusters to form the polypeptide modified gold nanoclusters. The detection method for microplastics includes mixing the polypeptide-modified gold nanoclusters with a sample to be tested that may contain microplastics to obtain a detection solution, and performing colorimetric analysis or absorbance value detection and analysis on the detection solution. The gold nanocluster can specifically identify polypropylene, and has good specificity, low cost, convenience and rapidity for the detection of polypropylene microplastics. |
