abstract The present disclosure provides a semiconductor element structure with serpentine conductive features and a method for fabricating the same. The semiconductor element structure has a conductive pad disposed in a semiconductor substrate; and a first mask layer disposed on the semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor device structure also has a second mask layer disposed on the first mask layer. The first mask layer and the second mask layer contain different materials. The semiconductor device structure also has a conductive feature that passes through the first mask layer and the second mask layer to connect to the conductive pad. In top view, the conductive feature has a serpentine pattern.
