abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a novel means for acquiring spinal muscular atrophy-related information based on the intracellular distance between an SMN protein located in the nucleus of a nucleated cell and a specified intranuclear protein. The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems by a method for acquiring information related to spinal muscular atrophy, including labeling the SMN protein in a blood subject-derived nucleated cell obtained from a subject with a first fluorescent dye, and acquiring a specified A fluorescence image of a nucleated cell in which nuclear proteins are labeled with a second fluorescent dye, and the first light spot corresponding to the first fluorescent dye and the second light spot corresponding to the second fluorescent dye are obtained in the fluorescence image.
