The invention discloses a pentapeptide compound and its application in preparing a medicine for treating liver fibrosis. The amino acid sequence of the pentapeptide compound is X-glycine-arginine-phenylalanine-Y, wherein X, Y represents the N-terminal and C-terminal amino acids respectively; the X represents any one of cysteine, aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and tryptophan, and Y represents glycine; or the X represents histidine, Y represents any one of phenylalanine, leucine, threonine, and tryptophan. The pentapeptide compound of the present invention has a significant inhibitory effect on the proliferation of HSC-T6 cells, and the IC 50 values are all lower than 100 μM, and shows obvious dose dependence, and is expected to be developed into a new type of medicine for treating liver fibrosis. |
