The present invention discloses a dairy-free frozen confection comprising vegetable protein, sweeteners, oils, bulking components, texturizers and emulsifiers, and optionally edible Fragrance and solubilizer. The dairy-free frozen confection can have a favorable gloss and/or creaminess, have additional enhanced organoleptic properties, such as mouthfeel or melt, and/or reduced off-flavor. Also disclosed is a method for preparing a dairy-free frozen confectionery product that requires an aging step of the refrigerated composition. |
