abstract |
The present application discloses cathode materials, preparation methods and lithium ion batteries. The cathode material includes carbon particles having a graphitic phase; wherein the carbon particles contain oxygen in the form of functional groups at a mass fraction of 8.5 wt % to 13.0 wt % from the outermost surface of the carbon particles to a surface area of 15 nm depth and 6.0 wt % The remaining inner region to 12.0 wt% is distributed in layers, with the oxygen content of the surface region greater than that of the inner region. The present application achieves larger interlayer space and smaller crystal size by implementing different content of functional group oxygen distribution in different regions, so as to obtain higher capacity and better rate performance. |
