abstract | The invention provides a polyionic liquid electrolyte for a lithium-sulfur battery, a preparation method and an application. The polyionic liquid electrolyte is prepared by in-situ polymerization of a polyionic liquid precursor solution in a battery. The polyionic liquid precursor solution is composed of pyrrolidine ionic liquid, thermal initiator, polyionic liquid precursor monomer and lithium salt. In the present invention, the two specific structures of the pyrrolidine ionic liquid and the polyionic liquid obtained by thermal polymerization of the polyionic liquid precursor monomer function at the same time, so that the polyionic liquid electrolyte can ensure excellent ionic conductivity and can interact with lithium metal while ensuring excellent ionic conductivity. The anode forms a stable solid-state electrolyte interfacial layer, which significantly improves the performance of lithium-sulfur batteries, especially the cycling stability at higher temperatures. In addition, the polyionic liquid electrolyte has flame-retardant properties, which overcomes the flammability of traditional carbonate electrolytes and improves the safety of lithium-sulfur batteries. |
