Strawberry essential oil has a significant inhibitory effect on Phytophthora nicotianae: in the fumigation method, the inhibition efficiency of the strawberry essential oil on Phytophthora nicotiana is 42.3~96.7%; was 60.5%; the essential oil of grass fruit had a significant effect on the growth morphology of Phytophthora nicotianae. The present invention finds that the essential oil has many advantages, such as environmental protection, low cytotoxicity, broad spectrum, and avoiding the generation of bacterial resistance, and is expected to become an environmentally friendly new pesticide for preventing and treating Phytophthora tobacco.
