abstract A wireless apparatus monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first search space in a portion of bandwidth that includes a set of resource blocks. Downlink control information is received. The downlink control information indicates: suppressing monitoring of the PDCCH on the first search space; monitoring the PDCCH on a second search space of the bandwidth portion; and one or more of the resource block set Resource block sets are available. Monitoring the PDCCH on the first search space is skipped. The PDCCH is monitored over the second search space in at least one of the one or more resource block sets.
