titleOfInvention | MBW complex and its application in regulating poplar development |
abstract | The invention discloses the MBW complex (PdeMIXTA-PdeMYC-PdeWD40) for the first time, which regulates the initial development of poplar and belongs to the technical field of plant genetic engineering. In the present invention, the PdeMIXTA gene of poplar is used as the bait protein, and the yeast library of the female flower buds in the initial development period of poplar is screened to obtain two interacting proteins PdeMYC and PdeWD40. Through the yeast two-hybrid experiment, bimolecular fluorescence complementation Experiments and luciferase complementation experiments verified that PdeMIXTA-PdeMYC-PdeWD40 forms MBW complex to function in poplar. Overexpression of poplar PdeMIXTA gene in Arabidopsis hairless mutant gl1 can restore its wild-type trichomes phenotype, indicating that this gene can promote the differentiation of Arabidopsis epidermal cell bulge into epidermal hairs. The above confirmed that the MBW complex is a key complex regulating the initiation and development of flocculents, and provides a reliable target gene and important theoretical support for the creation of new varieties of poplar without flocculation by gene editing technology. |
