The present invention relates to a dimensionally stable adhesive mass which is formulated to be substantially free of water and solvents, and which can be applied in the form of a thin adhesive film particularly suitable for bonding materials obtained from vegetable fibers to be Bonded substrate contact. The organic constituents of the adhesive mass according to the invention consist essentially of polyester polyurethanes, at least some of which are based on semi-crystalline polyester polyols. The present invention also relates to a method of applying an adhesive film to a flat substrate, preferably paper, by applying the adhesive mass to the points of contact with the substrate. |
