In the present invention, based on the insecticidal activity of the Cry2Ag1 protein itself to Spodoptera frugiperda, the modified Cry2Ag1 gene is used in rice. High-efficiency expression means that the transgenic crops have strong insecticidal activity against Spodoptera frugiperda. In the process of the effect verification test of the present invention, it was not found that the pests developed resistance to the protein. Therefore, the Bt protein Cry2Ag1 of the present invention has important economic value and application prospect, and is suitable for large-scale application in improving the insect resistance of plants.
